Stop worrying about buying a laser rangefinder just for the range.

You use GPS on the course, now you can use GPS on the driving range. Get Ranger for free on the App Store and get exact distances to any target, anywhere.

Any Range, Anywhere.

You don't have to worry if your favorite driving range is available because we've intentionally avoided mapping locations. Just fire up Ranger, let it find your location, then you're good to go.

Real Distance to Targets

Pinch, double tap and swipe to move the map and find your target. Long press anywhere on the map to view the distance to your target. You can even drag your target to find a new distance.

Lock Your Location

GPS can have a mind of its own. Once Ranger zeros in on your exact location, tap the Lock button which saves your battery and keeps your position locked in. All you need to focus on is grinding on the range.

Can I really use Ranger anywhere?

Yep. Ranger doesn't require you to select a course or driving range ensuring that if Apple Maps can find your location, Ranger can show you accurate distances.

All your screenshots show the distance in yards. What about Meters?

The default distance is measured in yards, but you can switch to Meters or Feet in the Settings. Tap on the "info button" then click on "Settings" in the upper right corner.

Why does the weather icon change when I move around?

Wind direction is important in golf, so we added the ability to see the wind speed and relative direction based on the direction you are facing. As you change direction, we update the display to show you which way the wind is blowing.

Do I need an account to use Ranger?

Nope. Just download the free app, fire it up, and hit great shots.

After I place the first target, can I move it?

Absolutely. You can touch the target and drag it to a new location or you can simply Long Press on a new location.

Speaking of the weather, who powers it? great service for developers and even better weather data for all of us. Check them out.

I've got some ideas for how to make Ranger better, interested?

Absolutely! If you have an idea for a new feature, click here and share your idea with us.

I've got other questions, where can I get help?
